Why hire equipment?

New Parents – having a baby can be such an expensive time. Why not lessen the costs by renting some of the equipment that you need. This way you can also avoid having to buy items that you will only need for a short period.

Holidaying with babies & toddlers – going away with little ones can feel like a house move in disguise. Why not reduce the amount of equipment that you have to travel with buy renting items from us. You can also rent equipment that is specifically for use on the holiday, saving yourself the cost of purchasing an item that will simply sit in the cupboard at home once the holiday is over.

Just give us a call or email to find out more information or to reserve the equipment you require.  We will then arrange the delivery/collection details. Before the rental period begins we simply require the rental agreement to be signed and payment to be arranged. 

At the end of your rental period, we will arrange for the items to be collected/dropped back at a convenient. Providing the goods are undamaged, we will then return your deposit to you.

We can get very busy at certain times of the year so the more notice you can give us the better, this way we can reserve the items for you so there are no disappointments.

We have shops in Holt, North Norfolk, and Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.  You are more than welcome to come to collect/drop back the equipment - this saves you the cost of delivery.

Alternatively we charge a flat rate of £12 for delivery and collection of equipment to any UK address. Smaller items may cost less than this, please contact us for a quote.

Timings

We aim to deliver and collect your items at a time that is convenient to you. Once we have received your order, we will telephone you to arrange a delivery date and time so you know exactly when to expect us.

Frequently asked questions

How do I pay for my order?

Once the rental period has been arranged we will send through an invoice. This must be paid before the equipment is delivered / collected. We can take payment over the telephone using a payment card or you can make the payment via online banking (quoting the invoice number).

Do I pay a deposit?

Yes. We require a deposit to be paid before the rental period begins. This will be returned to you when the goods are collected providing they are undamaged.

How do I receive my order?

We will arrange delivery and collection of the items to any UK address. Alternatively, you can collect the items yourself to keep the cost even lower. We have two collection sites – one in Holt, North Norfolk, and Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.

How do I return the goods?

We will also collect from the same address we delivered to. You can return them to one of our collection sites.

How do I know the goods are clean and safe?

All items are cleaned with antibacterial cleaning agent and then steam cleaned (product permitting) before and after every hire. They are also safety checked thoroughly by our team to ensure they remain in excellent condition. Remember, if we wouldn’t be happy with our own children using our products, we simply wouldn’t hire them out to you.

What happens if I damage the goods?

If a product is returned damaged, part or all of your deposit charge will be retained to pay towards the replacement of the damaged item

Will I know how to operate everything in my order?

All orders are delivered with a copy of the manufacturer’s instructions included (if applicable). This way, you can be sure you will be able to operate the goods fully for the extent of your hire period.

Do you provide linen?

All cots and Moses baskets come complete with linen included in the hire charge. There are no additional costs for this.

What happens if I wish to hire something longer term?

Just call us and we can provide you with costs for the goods you need.
